Booking
Joining a waiting list
If no time suits you, ask to be told when a matching appointment opens up.
How it works
When a doctor has no suitable times, you can join the practice's waiting list. Tell us the dates you can manage and whether you prefer mornings, afternoons or any time.
When a time opens up
If someone cancels and the time matches what you asked for, we send you an offer. Offers are held for a limited time, currently two hours, so the time can go to someone else if you cannot make it.
Accepting or letting it go
Accept the offer from the message or from your account, and the appointment is booked and confirmed. If you do not respond in time, the offer lapses and you stay on the waiting list for the next opening.
Leaving a waiting list
You can leave a waiting list at any time from your appointments, or by asking the practice.
Note: Joining a waiting list is not a booking and does not guarantee an appointment. If you need to be seen urgently, contact the practice or another provider.
