Create a free account in a minute. Add anyone you book for, such as your children or an older parent.

Search by area, specialty, language, medical aid and real availability. Every doctor listed has had their professional registration checked.

Choose an open time. Times come straight from the practice calendar, so the slot you pick is really yours.

A confirmation on WhatsApp, SMS or email straight away, and a reminder before the visit.

If your practice uses them, answer a few questions on your phone before you arrive. Your doctor sees a short summary.

Tell the practice you have arrived from your phone, or at reception. Where the live queue is in use, you can see roughly how long the wait is.

Your doctor may ask whether the AI scribe can help with notes. It is your choice, and nothing is transcribed unless you agree.

Journey 02
For doctors and practices.
Verification comes first, so patients can trust who they book. After that, the calendar fills itself and the notes nearly write themselves. Approval stays with you.

Register
Create your practice, or accept an invitation to join one. Choose a plan and start with a free trial.

Get verified
Each doctor adds their HPCSA registration details. Our team checks them before the doctor can be booked.
- 03
Set availability
Services, prices, consultation lengths, opening hours, rooms, leave and public holiday closures. Your calendar becomes the single source of truth.

Receive appointments
Bookings arrive from your booking page, WhatsApp, missed-call callbacks and reception, all into the same calendar.

Consult with the scribe
With the patient's consent, the AI scribe transcribes the consultation and drafts the note, so you can focus on the person in front of you.

Approve
Review every line, resolve anything flagged, and approve. Only then does the note join the record, and the patient's summary reach them.
The AI never diagnoses, prescribes or approves anything. Every clinical note is reviewed and approved by the treating clinician.

Plans, trials and billing.
Practices pay a monthly subscription in rand, through Paystack. Patients never pay to find care on Maatla Care.

Try your chosen plan with a free trial. No card is needed to start.

Subscribe through Paystack
When you are ready, subscribe securely through Paystack. Prices are in rand and billed monthly.

Features switch on
Your plan's features, such as the AI receptionist, WhatsApp or the AI scribe, are available straight away. Change plan as you grow.

Track your usage
Plans include monthly allowances for AI minutes and WhatsApp messages. Your dashboard shows usage as it happens.

Clear invoices
Monthly invoices and receipts in your billing dashboard. Usage above your allowance is itemised, never a surprise.
If a payment fails, there is a grace period before anything changes. And even if a subscription lapses, your calendar and patient records stay available, so you never lose access to your records.
