Handy words
A few words worth knowing.
Menus and buttons do most of the work. These words work at any time, in capitals or not.

Linking your number
Health details only go to a number we know is yours.
Phones get shared and numbers get recycled. So until your WhatsApp number is linked to a verified Maatla Care account, we keep messages to the practical: bookings, times and directions.
1.Get a code from your account
Sign in to Maatla Care on the web and choose to link WhatsApp. You will see a six-digit code.
2.Send it from your phone
Message LINK followed by your code to the Maatla Care WhatsApp number, from the phone you want to link.
3.That is it
We confirm the link. From then on, follow-up instructions your clinician has approved can be sent to you there.
Codes expire after 10 minutes and work only once. If a code does not work, generate a new one in your account.

- It tells you it is automated. The assistant never pretends to be a person, and never diagnoses or prescribes.
- Warning signs come first. Messages that mention things like chest pain or trouble breathing get emergency guidance straight away.
- STOP always works. Reply STOP and reminders and updates stop. Reply START to turn them back on.
- No health data for advertisers. Designed around POPIA principles, and we do not sell your information.
