Payments
Paying an invoice online with Paystack
Pay your practice with a secure payment link. Your card details go to Paystack, not to Maatla Care or the practice.
Getting a payment link
When a practice issues an invoice, you may receive a payment link by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Outstanding invoices also appear in your account, and on WhatsApp under More options.
Paying
- Open the link and check the practice name, invoice number and amount.
- Continue to Paystack's secure checkout and choose one of the payment methods offered there.
- Complete the payment. Your bank may ask you to approve it in your banking app.
- You return to Maatla Care and receive a receipt by email.
How your card details are protected
Payments are processed by Paystack, a payment provider. You enter your card details on Paystack's checkout page, so Maatla Care and the practice never see or store your full card number.
Check before you pay
- Make sure the amount matches what you expected. If not, ask the practice before paying.
- Be wary of messages from unknown numbers asking you to pay into a bank account. Maatla Care payment links take you to a Paystack checkout, not to bank details.
- If anything looks unusual, do not pay. Contact the practice or our support team.
Refunds and queries
Questions about the amount on an invoice, and requests for refunds, are handled by the practice that issued it. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. How long they take to reflect depends on your bank.
